Eviction Assistance
When you're booking a bailiff service for property repossession they will often specify that a locksmith is present to gain entry to the property should no access be available and to change the locks upon completion. Courts do not supply locksmiths and it's up to the property owner to arrange this. As an experienced eviction locksmith I am happy to assist bailiffs with gaining entry and changing out the locks. Repossession Process
It can all seem a bit daunting if you've never experienced repossession work. Usually all parties will arrive at the arranged time and the bailiffs will assess the situation. Ideally an evicted tenant will hand over the keys and be on their way, however properties are often abandoned and left locked shut. In this scenario your locksmith will gain entry to the property so that the bailiffs can enter and ensure it's all empty and safe. If you don't have a locksmith present the bailiffs will not attempt to open the property for you and you'll need to rebook.

The final step of the repossession process is to change all the external locks at the property to ensure that the evicted parties cannot return illegally. As an experienced locksmith I stock the majority of locks and hardware to secure all domestic and commercial premises following an eviction.
